MAXIMUM-IMPACT: Lighting Importance

While traveling Louisiana we came across a swamp hosting a slew of alligators, ready for a meal and a moment in front of the lens. The dense vegetation surrounding the alcove provided all sorts of varying light and made photographing the wildlife particularly challenging as the animals continuously moved around. Ultimately, however, we were able to capture a few interesting shots with wildly-differing light. The two examples below couldn't be more opposite each other, but in fact were taken side-by-side!
